Elegant Eggplant Bird Card

This turned out to be a really nice card. The images are from Stampin Up (background on card and bird). Each cardstock is also from Stampin Up along with the clear embossing powder. I just love using Versamark ink and clear embossing powder. It can make a background look so nice. Don't you think?!!

The edges of the matting have been distressed using Tim Holtz distress ink in milled lavender and tattererd rose. The bird mat was cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and then also edged with the distress inks and a black fine point pigment pen. The whole picture was colored with COPIC markers (which Croppinsville is now going to carry!!) The colors are shown in the photo at the bottom. The round marker without a number is a Warm Gray #7.

I think this card could be utilized in a variety of ways: a thinking of you card, a birthday card, a sympathy card or a personalized quote card! I'm sure you could come up with more ideas on the many uses of this little bird.
