Doodles From A Wandering Mind...

These pages took a lot of time and by that I mean I just watched TV and put a little bit of this on the page and then put a little bit of that on the page. I was in no "hurry" to finish a page in my book. I usually have at least two pages going, (sometimes more!) so if I'm not feeling it on one, I'll go to the other one.
This is a really good way to take the stress off of your mind. You start to focus more on what to do next on the page and less on what is heavy on your mind.
I usually use different sizes of pens when drawing and I use the set of Micron pigment pens that come in a pack of 6.
Get out your journals and start letting your mind wander aimlessly!! Send me a link to your blog to show me what you've created! Thanks for checking in.

Asian Theme

Well I know my friend Deanna will be surprised to receive this card in the mail from me. I have not EVER made something with this theme. I know she enjoys asian cards and I even bought some special paper for the matting and also used it for the little flower at the bottom.

It was colored with COPIC markers and the bamboo background was stamped with Versamark and then colored with Perfect Pearls powder.

Happy Birthday Deanna!

4 Square Flowers

Have you see this set yet?? It is by Hero Arts and it's called Peeking Posies! Isn't it wonderful!!
Each image is colored with copic markers and enhanced further with different colored stickles. The card is black and embossed with the dot embossing folder. This is a very versatile set: use one image or use them all!

Thanks for checking in! Have a great week!
