A Pink Book Club Invitation...

Every year we have a party to celebrate first the birth of Jesus, then we celebrate all of our friendships, then the books we have read. This year we are having our annual Book Club Christmas party at the "Pink House"!...that's why the invite looks like a pink house... Hopefully all the members will enjoy this creative idea! I had to come up with an easy to make idea and get them done in one day since time is just blowing by this year.

The image is from Stampin Up and the card has been embossed with an embossing folder. Of course, it's been colored with COPIC markers!

What books have you read lately? Does anyone have a Kindle or are you ordering a Nook from Barnes and Noble? One of those two is on my Christmas list..I just haven't decided which one! I'm thinking the Nook...newest on the market! But is it good to buy the "first" of something??? What do you think?

Have a great week!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it's Thanksgiving week and I have a lot to be thankful for. I hope all of you are excited for dinner with family or friends or just a quiet day by your selves. My hubby and I are making dinner together at home and it will be a relaxing day.
Thank you all for checking in this year and I appreciate the emails you have sent.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Lexi's Card to Angela

This birthday card is made out of colored paper and
it's taped together since she didn't have any glue. I thought it was great card since she didn't have any craft supplies...only office supplies!

I hope you all have finished your Thanksgiving cards by now. I am still in the process of getting mine done...
I just started taking an on-line class to help me use my Bind It All. (I've only had it two years now!!)I basically know how to use it, BUT I somehow always make a wrong punch somewhere! In the first class, I've already had an "eye opening" moment when something "clicked". I can see why I always made the same mistake over and over. It's a 4 week class and hopefully at the end I will have something to show you.
Hope all is well with you...

Birthday Card

This birthday card is for my youngest daughter, Angela. She celebrated her 24th on Thursday the 30th. I used my Justrite stamper collection to center her name on the oval.

On the inside, I used the horizonal and vertical Justrite blocks to create the sentiment.

Dies and Punches...

So many elements to use and not enough space to use them all. Do you find it difficult to choose which dies to use for your art? Sometimes I pull out so many and start cutting and then realize I couldn't possibly put them all onto one card! I think I counted 7 layers on the top area of this card. That has got to be a record for me!!
I hope you enjoyed this friendship card. The stamped images are from Stampin Up.
