The "thank you card series" was created to be an experiment in creating design ideas utilizing a particular format of card. I decided to make the series a total of 10 cards.
They are all cut basically the same and embossed with cuttlebug embossing folders. I did all the cutting first and embossing second. Then I started with the first card and said "ok how quickly can you dress this up without too much time being involved." Then I proceeded to the second through tenth card in the same way.
This card #1 turned out so pretty. The picture doesn't really show how I used the blue on the border punch to darken the edges. I love this blue and green together.
Thanks for checking in again!

When looking for my purpose in life and needing direction, I chose to ask God. His response was: "You will find what you need if you look among the stars and within yourself." For He is there & everywhere. ...AW...

Friends Card
This "friends" card is really more subtle in color. I had a hard time trying to get the color to show correctly with Adobe Photoshop. It is more of a "shabby chic" style without the vibrant color on the flowers and the green is more subdued also.
This set is from Stampin Up and I used a vanilla twill ribbon with some green ink swiped along the edges of the ribbon. I also stamped the background with a pale pink ink.
I used some Nestabilities and a couple of border punches to finish it up.
Hope you are all doing well. Thanks for checking in!

Joy's Art Doll
My friend Joy created this adorable french art doll! She is involved in a monthly art doll swap and I was so excited to receive this beauty in the mail. You'll have to look closely at the french details she added. I especially love the cancelled stamp that she has at her left hip. This stamp is a Paula Best stamp.
I would close with something french, but I don't know any french...except the basics..!
Thank you Joy for sharing with me!
Bonjour!
Angel
