I used to have a really great routine of taking pictures of my artwork, then editing it and getting it posted. Now I find that something has changed either on my camera or on the computer and I am spending TONS of time trying to get pictures posted. I got the camera book out, again, to see if somehow I changed something important on the camera. Then when editing, all of my usual things like type style and size had changed. I know I am the only one using Adobe Photoshop in my house so I just don't get it!! Who knows!!?? I guess one day it will all be back to *normal*.
This stamped image has been waiting for color for a very long time. I had some green and blue dp in just enough amounts to add to the layering of this card. I don't have any idea who made this dp, but I liked the blue and green color. I would use this card for a graduation card, a birthday card, or even possibly a retirement card.
Supplies:
SU Brilliant Blue and Garden Green and W.White
Inkadinkado Stamp
Copic Markers: Sky and Lime Green
Robins Nest Dew Drops
Jellyroll Glitter Pen
Spica Melon Glitter Pen
Silver Ribbon
The butterfly on this card was colored quite some time ago, but I never got around to making a set of cards with those samples until today. This dp is really pretty, but I don't remember who made it either! That's what happens when you start something and don't finish it right away. Now I have created a spreadsheet to help me track all that stuff!
Today I practiced watercoloring stamped images with a friend of mine, Joy, at a scrapbook store in another town. She is great at using watercolors to fill in her stamped images! I need some more practice. I think I am just used to coloring with copic markers and seeing such vibrant color that I feel my watercolor looks dull. I'll practice that some more and then post one of those trials. Anyway, these cards for today's post are colored with Copics. Hope you enjoy them!
