Gift Card Pockets

These were the EASIEST gift card pockets I have ever made! The pocket itself is something that is recycled! Can you guess what it is??

Anyway, mat paper that comes in pads from Michaels or HL is the perfect size to cover the pocket. Decorate the rest and pop the card into the pocket; punch a hole and insert ribbon and a tag. You can have lots of these ready to go for that instant that you need a gift card holder.

It would also be great to put into your child's lunchbox with a note tucked inside. There are lots of ideas for this particular pocket.

Email me if you want to know what the pocket is made from!

Happy Snowman

Isn't he adorable or what!!! He is so happy! I hope your Christmas is wonderful and that you are blessed in every way. The new year is just around the corner and I am really excited about it!

If you are lucky enough to have some snow for Christmas, go outside and make a snowman....or better yet, make some snow angels!

Bind It All 6 x 6 Book

First of all, please look past the fact that this book is no where near being done! There are a lot of chipboard cut outs and many other things that need to be added to make this book special. I think the embellishing part will have to come after Christmas this year. Maybe even into 2010!! This 6x6 book cover is Bind It All's canvas artboard. I used a Glimmer Mist stencil and sprayed the whole thing with purple, pink and gold Glimmer Mist sprays. Of course, you have to let it dry in between coats, but the wait is worth it!

As you can see, some of these 6x6 pages have been cut in half to give more places to put pictures or journaling or what ever your heart desires. Please note the picture of the gatefold pages at the end.

Today is my gift wrapping day...yes all day! I think it would have been easier if I wrapped as I bought!! Wish me luck, so I don't run out of tape!
Have a great day!

Circut Cut Outs for Christmas...

These numbers, letters and ornaments were all done on the Circut machine. I've done a lot of cutting for my daughter in the last few days. She works for a non-profit organization and they decided to make a float for their Christmas Parade of Lights. This is a portion of what I made for the float. The float was titled "Santa's Workshop". The parade was yesterday, so if she sends me any photos of their float, I'll post it for you all to see.

These Christmas tree ornaments are so easy to make (especially when you aren't the one cutting them out!) Thank goodness for technology. If I had some chunky silver glitter, the kids could have added a little *sparkle* to the ornaments.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bind It All 4x4 Book

This book was created from taking a Bind It All course. This basic book class is to help understand the basics of using this particular binder. I have used a GBC binding machine before that utilized plastic binding rather than metal binding.

This class was a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone who has the older or newer Bind It All. It definitely opens up your mind to the creative possibilities with this machine.

The front cover is the acrylic cover so you can see through it. The back cover is their clipboard wood and has dp on both sides.

As you can see I haven't put the ribbon on all of the tags yet, but you definitely get the idea. Each page has also been edged with distress ink by Tim Holtz.

My next project is a 6x6 book. Hopefully I'll be able to get to that today!

Thanks for checking in!
